Hi and welcome to my site. My name is Kevin Ackerman and I am a technologist. Let me tell you a little about me. During the day you can find me working in large organizations on technology projects. I can wear many hats, and can balance stress quite well. Did I mention I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan? I have a passion for technology, and really enjoy home automation. Let me get back to what I can bring to a large organization. I am an IBM Certified Advanced System Administrator, certified administering IBM's WebSphere 6.1 Network Deployment product.

From initial installation to scripting automated multiple development life-cycle environment builds I can handle it all, believe me I am not afraid. If new environment builds are taking longer than scheduled, that's where I can offer a hand. I have a defined, and proven, process for generating a formal environment build document covering all aspects of WebSphere, and it's enterprise applications, to work all while interacting with the various teams.

Outside of the office, you can find me designing web sites, playing drums with my son and watching Survivor. During the winter months I like to write music, either with my open tuned 12 string guitar, or old school heavy metal. I am talking big hair heavy metal music. While driving you can almost always find a Fates Warning or Dream Theater cd in the deck blaring. I have a tremendous sense of humor, how many of you can pull off having a waitress toss an entire plate of spaghetti accidentally all over your back and just ask for a couple of drips of club soda.

You can always strike up a conversation with me by mentioning a 1987 Buick Grand National, this sleeper is truely a work of art. I recently picked up a turbo-t with the WE4 option.Most Ford Mustang owners can identify the tail end of a GN, just ask one.
